On the June 28 episode of the game show "Kapamilya, Deal Or No Deal,"a fresh lineup of celebrity Lucky Stars was introduced as part of the second batch set to bring fun-filled entertainment to viewers. Among them were returning Lucky Stars from the previous batch, including veteran actress Ynez Veneracion, who was selected by the Lucky Wheel to compete as the celebrity player for the evening.
In her introduction video, Ynez shared that she began her acting career as a bit player before eventually starring in more than 50 films. As a single mother of two daughters, she said she learned to stay resilient despite life's challenges. "Hindi madali pero laban lang. Kinakaya, 'di ba? Darna tayo eh!" she quipped, foreshadowing the determination and fighting spirit she would later display in the game.
What began as a simple question about the higher cash amounts on the board quickly turned into a hilarious exchange between Ynez and host Luis Manzano. The veteran actress accidentally called the Pambansang Host by veteran comedian Long Mejia’s name, drawing laughter from everyone in the studio. Amused by the slip-up, Luis playfully challenged Long to step in and pretend to be the show's host for a moment.

Hoping to take home the coveted ₱1 million jackpot, Ynez shared that she planned to split her potential winnings among her fellow Lucky Stars and donate a portion to persons with disabilities (PWDs). She later chose briefcase number 12 as her own, giving up her assigned briefcase number 4.
Ynez was left covering her mouth in disbelief after uncovering the ₱500,000 and ₱1 million cash prizes in the first two briefcases she opened in the first round. Already disheartened by the early setback, she also eliminated the ₱125,000 prize in the same round, prompting the Banker to celebrate with a dance.
Misfortune continued to haunt Ynez in the second round when she eliminated the ₱250,000 prize after following her daughter Princess' suggestion to open briefcase number 15. Visibly frustrated, the actress turned to her fellow Lucky Stars for help.
In an effort to lift Ynez's spirits, Long playfully promised that he would kiss comedian Negi on the lips if briefcase number 13 contained the ₱1 prize. The entire studio eagerly anticipated whether Long and Negi would follow through after the briefcase coincidentally revealed the lowest amount on the board. Everyone burst into laughter when Long quickly planted a peck near Negi's lips.

Just when it seemed that luck was finally on Ynez's side, she was disappointed to discover that her assigned briefcase number 4 contained the ₱100,000 prize. Her fortunes took another turn for the worse in the succeeding rounds as she also eliminated the remaining high-value amounts of ₱50,000 and ₱150,000. With only ₱10 and ₱500 left on the board, the celebrity player bravely turned down the Banker's final offer of ₱260 and ultimately went home with the ₱500 hidden inside her chosen briefcase.
While Ynez may not have walked away with a life-changing prize on "Kapamilya, Deal Or No Deal," her resilience and positive outlook made her a winner in her own right. "Sobra[ng] iba promise! Kaya good luck sa inyo, Batch 2," she told the new set of Lucky Stars.
