Disheartened after eliminating the ₱500,000 and ₱1 million cash prizes with her first two briefcases in the opening round, “Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal” June 28 celebrity player Ynez Veneracion had to rely on her fellow Lucky Stars’ advice as she fought to finish the game on a high note.
In an effort to lift the seasoned actress’s spirits, veteran comedian Long Mejia made a playful bet involving the ₱1 prize. Long promised to kiss entertainer Negi on the lips if briefcase number 13 turned out to contain the lowest prize. Negi jokingly fired back and said he would give content creator Joyang her eldest child if briefcase 16 held the ₱1 prize.
Joining in on their hilarious banter, Ynez exclaimed, “Halikan na!” as she chose to follow Long’s suggestion. The set erupted in thunderous laughter when the briefcase coincidentally revealed the lowest amount, sparing Ynez from the fate of going home as a “Pisonaryo.”
Refusing to follow through with the kiss, Long tried to escape by crawling across the stage. Meanwhile, Negi told Luis that he would act more like a ‘real man’ on the condition that the kiss wouldn’t happen. Eventually, Long planted a kiss beside Negi’s lips, prompting him to lie on stage and act disgusted. In jest, he cried out, “Ang dumi-dumi ko!”
