“Blood vs Duty” undoubtedly amps up every one of its intensely engaging episodes with the confrontations between the righteous and the villainous characters. Among those capable of setting someone’s teeth on edge are one of Task Force Alpha’s high-performing officers, Felix Domingo (Baron Geisler).
On top of being extremely committed to his duties in NLEA and Task Force Alpha, Felix often gets carried away with his fearlessness, choosing to let his self-centered attitude and rule-bending strategies reign over others. Felix refuses to abide by Marcus’ orders
In the middle of Task Force Alpha’s crucial mission in Isla Damai to arrest Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas), the accused leader of an arms-smuggling syndicate, an unidentified group triggers the brutal shootout that caused the massacre of the Muslim community on the island.
Perplexed by the ambush, Marcus (Richard Gutierrez) first assesses the situation, ordering his team to remain in hiding and not retaliate. As the violence intensifies, the Muslim residents frantically flee, and Felix stubbornly chooses to open fire against their attackers, whom he believes are from Datu Rahman’s people.
Felix makes an attempt to eliminate Jalil
Midway through the state of chaos prevailing at Isla Damai, also known as Task Force Alpha’s compromised Zamboanga operation, a distraught Jalil (Gerald Anderson) weakly roams around his burning village, slowly feeling the weight of the tragedy fall upon him.
Felix then spots Jalil and immediately shoots at him. Even when he runs out of ammunition, Felix easily switches to his military knife and initiates a deadly close-range combat against Jalil.
Felix masks his delight over the criticisms aimed at Marcus
In the aftermath of the breached Zamboanga operation, one bodycam footage from one of Task Force Alpha’s officers became the talk of the town, sparking furious conversations about the seemingly deliberate massacre of Isla Damai’s Muslim residents.
As the head agent of Task Force Alpha, Marcus inevitably undergoes the condemnation of the general public. Days after the mission, he drives past the enraged protesters just outside NLEA’s headquarters. As he walks inside the building, a grinning Felix welcomes him, who was also watching the controversial footage as if he were mocking Marcus.
Felix denies hearing the hijacked command in the Zamboanga operation
In order to hastily save the reputation of NLEA, Director Azuelo (Rommel Padilla) orders an immediate interrogation of the remaining Task Force Alpha members, along with the other superior officers.
Like Lara (Bela Padilla) and Sean (Junjun Quintana), Felix denies hearing the unknown command through their communication channels, which strongly ordered them to instantly neutralize the whole Muslim village at Isla Damai.
Felix murders Oliver, Patrick, and Russel in the hospital
While Marcus, Lara, Sean, and Felix returned to the headquarters safely after the mission, Oliver (Geoff Eigenmann), Patrick (Antonio Aquitania), and Russel (Dino Imperial) were taken to the hospital in their critical conditions.
Death then persists to come for them in the form of a disguised nurse, who has injected a dangerous substance into the IV bags of Patrick and Russel, killing them both. On the contrary, Oliver managed to stand against the murderer for a brief time but still ended up mortally wounded.
Moments later, the killer, revealed as the merciless Felix, quickly escapes the hospital and Marcus’ pursuit, carefully throwing away his medical disguise.
Felix feigns sympathy in front of Oliver’s grieving family
During the public wake of Oliver, Patrick, and Russel at NLEA’s chapel, regardless of being the sole murderer of the three departed officers, Felix manipulatively shows compassion towards the grieving family of Oliver.
He gently approaches them and ironically promises Oliver’s wife that he’ll kill the person responsible in order to give justice to Oliver.
Felix justifies any plans involving the execution of Datu Rahman
Lara, Sean, and Felix altogether watch Director Azuelo’s publicized statement regarding the escape of Datu Rahman from NLEA’s custody during his transfer to another facility. Intensifying the seriousness of the situation, Sean also reads the harsh criticism against NLEA’s officers, most especially Task Force Alpha.
In response, Felix angrily explains that criminals like Datu Rahman deserve to be pelted to death with bullets. Upon hearing this, Lara calls out Felix’s murderous-sounding declaration. Despite this, Felix continues to justify his stance, saying that he only wants a world with no criminality.
Felix ruthlessly fires shots at an escaping Jalil
While tracking the whereabouts of the abducted Datu Rahman, Marcus, Lara, and Felix surprisingly meet each other at the Dapayan warehouse. There, they encounter a masked Jalil, who was seeking to rescue the Datu.
As they chase after Jalil, Felix doesn’t hesitate to shoot multiple times at him. Witnessing another uncontrollable side of Felix, both Lara and Marcus take action against him since they need Datu Rahman alive. Stubbornly, Felix reasons that it doesn’t matter if he fatally shoots because Jalil is what he merely calls a wanted animal.
Felix fails to break into Barangay Surga in search for Jalil
In search of Jalil, Felix tries to infiltrate the Muslim residence within Barangay Surga. Right after he successfully rents a place owned by the landlady Zubina, he politely requests a tour around the place.
When he gets near Omar’s (Edgar Mortiz) house, someone unfortunately bumps into him, resulting in the exposure of his NLEA badge and identity by Rashid (JV Kapunan) and Malik. Feeling trapped, Felix brings out his gun, threatening the residents to disclose Jalil’s whereabouts since he believes they were hiding him all along.
Soon enough, Omar confronts him, stressing that they aren’t capable of helping to hide criminals and that NLEA’s officers are the ones relentlessly causing the disorder. Felix then leaves Barangay Surga the second Omar mentioned that they’ll defend themselves if Felix attempts to hurt them.
Felix suppresses his contempt towards Marcus
On the first day of Marcus’ return to NLEA after the work suspension imposed against him by Director Azuelo, he speaks with Felix. Marcus emphasizes that they’ll be working together again, and Felix apologizes for his rash actions during the Zamboanga operation, further reasoning that he was just scared and wanted to defend their colleagues.
Following Marcus’ reminder for Felix to be careful of any danger surrounding them, Felix oddly responds that the enemy should instead be wary of him. When Marcus finally walks away, Felix’s kind facade fades and turns into a darker expression.
