Ever since the current season of “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal” began, host Luis Manzano has been playfully teasing lucky stars Rave Victoria and Negi with one another due to their assigned briefcases—numbers 5 and 6, respectively—which place them side by side on the game show.
And during the May 30 episode, as celebrity player Eric Fructuoso decided to eliminate Rave in the second round of opening briefcases, Luis gave Negi a chance to convince Eric to not choose him yet. Negi put on a dramatic act and pleaded in jest, “Kuya Eric, please. Kasi alam mong siya na lang ‘yong nagpapaligaya sa akin, tapos ilalayo mo pa siya.”
Rave gamely played along, reassuring Negi and advising him not to worry too much. The lighthearted “drama” was cut short when Luis quipped, “Grabe, naiiyak si Lebron,” referring to Negi, whom he has jokingly compared to NBA superstar LeBron James because of his tall and brawny build.
Negi got everyone suddenly alarmed when he uttered, “Pero ako, nararamdaman ko, kuya, parang malaki ‘yan.” Realizing how his statement sounded, he quickly clarified that he was talking about the amount inside Rave’s briefcase, sending everyone into fits of laughter.
