Back at Gen. Carillo’s (Bodjie Pascua) home, Lara (Bela Padilla) anxiously waits for their meeting to begin. Seeing Lara’s troubled pacing, Felix (Baron Geisler) promptly approaches her.
The two then converse about Allan’s (Gerald Anderson) recent pursuit of Lara, with Felix becoming outraged by the revelation. He also points out that Lara can just tell him to get rid of Allan, but she stresses that he cannot do anything unless ordered by Gen. Carillo.
In the meeting with Gen. Carillo, Lara gets criticized again, particularly for her slow progress in the search for the abducted Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas). Seconds later, the intentions of Gen. Carillo’s team are finally disclosed, specifically with them using Datu Rahman as the fall guy for the destabilization they’ve been orchestrating with the illegal gun smuggling all over the country that only benefited the syndicate groups.
As Lara leaves the room bearing the pressure and enduring the pain from being called a disappointment, Felix decides to eavesdrop on the phone call she’s having with her personnel, who have been actively spying on Usman (Ejay Falcon), Marcus’ (Richard Gutierrez) known ally.
When Felix reiterates that he can help Lara, she refuses once more, emphasizing that whenever he’s around, people end up dead.
