Immediately after his conversation with Sean (Junjun Quintana), Jalil (Gerald Anderson) follows Lara (Bela Padilla) as she drives to her residence with her adoptive father, Gen. Carillo (Bodjie Pascua), also living there.
Soon enough, Gen. Carillo’s secretary reports about Jalil’s suspicious presence, even sending two of their bodyguards to confront him and order him to come and enter the premises. However, when Jalil receives orders to surrender his weapon, he blatantly refuses and manages to overpower both guards.
Eventually, Jalil is led inside without any more violence, and Gen. Carillo begins questioning his speculated spying activity. In the middle of the abrupt interrogation, Jalil slowly remembers Ahmad’s (Robin Padilla) crucial reminders about Gen. Carillo’s powerful and timeless influence within SID and NLEA.
The more Jalil responds, the more he keeps in mind how Gen. Carillo can easily read a person’s intention just by observing their expressions and behaviors. With that said, Jalil unambiguously says that he just followed his instincts sparked by Lara's movements.
Gen. Carillo then inquires more about Jalil’s previous batch in the police academy, subsequently noting that almost all of Jalil’s information as Police Major Allan Espina was redacted. Last in Jalil’s memory, Ahmad finally mentioned that Gen. Carillo is the one that he should be cautious about the most since he has the capability to publicize the truth about Jalil assuming Allan’s identity.
Will Jalil keep his secret safe against Gen.Carillo? Find out in “Blood vs Duty,” streaming on iWant and airing weeknights at 8pm on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).
