Negi expressed his gratitude to Luis for supporting him through the years and helping him become the person he is today.
The mood briefly turned emotional when Luis asked Negi about his personal life and whether growing up had been difficult for him. Negi jokingly asked if it was really necessary to talk about it on air, admitting that discussions about his family actually sadden and hurt him, so he usually avoids opening up about them.
Their playful conversation then veered to Negi’s coming-out story, wherein he recalled how he once asked for his father’s moral support, especially when he joined a beauty pageant when he was still young. Just as he was about to get upset for not seeing him among the audience, Negi was stunned to discover that his father was actually one of the contestants in the same pageant—sending everyone into laughter. He added that his father even ended up as the runner-up, while he himself only took home the consolation prize.
