Just when lucky star player Jameson Blake thought luck was on his side and a huge cash prize was within reach in the May 16 episode of “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal,” fate apparently had other plans for him.
Although he managed to eliminate several high-value amounts in the early rounds, Jameson remained determined to fight for his chosen briefcase, which he had swapped with fellow lucky star Long Mejia at the start of the game. However, his hopes of becoming the season’s first millionaire came crashing down after the P1 million prize was revealed inside briefcase number 16, assigned to stand-up comedian Red Ollero.
With only P1 and P10,000 being the only amounts left on the money board in the final round of opening briefcases, Jameson decided to take the risk and reject the banker’s final offer of P67,000. In the end, it was revealed that his chosen briefcase—number 17—unfortunately contained the most dreaded P1, making him the first-ever “pisonaryo” instead of the current season.
