It wasn’t only talent and beauty that prevailed in the first episode of “ASAP XP,” which aired on May 17, but also love, as four of ABS-CBN’s most adored loveteams came together to deliver kilig moments for the live audience at the Araneta Coliseum and viewers at home.
The segment opened with Kyle Echarri and Kai Montinola delighting KaiKyle shippers with their undeniable chemistry as they performed TJ Monterde and KZ Tandingan’s hit song “Palagi.”
They were followed by the fan-favorite JMFyang tandem, composed of JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, who brought warmth to the stage with their duet of “Tahanan” by El Manu and Jessy Kang, leaving their fans truly overjoyed.
Despite being a relatively new pairing, Alexa Ilacad and BGYO’s Gelo Rivera—stars of the iWant microdrama series “The Chambermaid’s Daughter”—quickly won hearts with their charming stage presence as they performed “Tingin” by Cup of Joe and Janine Teñoso.
Rounding out the lineup were Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, collectively known as “FranSeth,” who radiated charm as they emerged onstage hand-in-hand and performed “Habang Buhay” by Zack Tabudlo.
The segment concluded with all four loveteams coming together onstage for a collaborative performance of the final song, wrapping up the number on a high note of music, chemistry, and kilig.
