Alexa Ilacad is no stranger to pressure-packed situations. In her latest Kapamilya Chat guest appearance, Alexa played a game called “90 Seconds Challenge,” where she had to go through a series of exhilarating dares within a limited time.
For her first task, she was asked to say three Korean words. Off the top of her head, Alexa enumerated Oppa, a Korean term women use to address older men they have a close relationship with; Saranghae, a casual expression of one’s love among Koreans; and Annyeonghaseyo, a polite way to greet people in Korean.
When challenged to sing the chorus of any popular song, Alexa referenced her iconic “Your Face Sounds Familiar” transformation as American singer-songwriter Chappell Roan, showcasing her vocal ability as she sang Roan’s hit single, “Pink Pony Club.”
Her knowledge of pop culture proved to be quite extensive, as Alexa recited two of Bea Alonzo’s most iconic lines as Basha in “One More Chance” and Bobbie Salazar in “Four Sisters and a Wedding,” respectively.
After charming Kapamilyas with three of her most Instagrammable poses, Alexa shared her fondness for Jellycats, revealing that she has collected up to a hundred of the plush toys as of the interview. As the booked-and-busy woman that she is, Alexa described her day as “tiring, fulfilling, yet exciting.”
Tongue twisters trip up most people, but Alexa was an exception. She impressed fans by flawlessly delivering the classic Filipino tongue twister, “Minekaniko ni Moniko ang makina ng minika ni Monika,” at full speed.
Lastly, she mentioned her legs, nose, skin, and even herself when asked to name her top three best assets.
