Avid supporters of Alexa Ilacad were surely in for a treat as she played an energizing getting-to-know-me game of “Name Us 3.” This Kapamilya Chat challenge asked Alexa to provide three things that best describe the categories thrown at her.
“The Chambermaid’s Daughter” actress didn’t have to think twice when asked about what she considered Gelo Rivera’s best characteristics. What she particularly adored about the BGYO member was his openness to learning opportunities and his easygoing trait of being “game sa lahat.” More importantly, Alexa also shared that she especially likes how Gelo knows how to apologize, finding him endearing and easy to forgive.
The struggle of choosing became apparent when it was time for Alexa to select her three most favorite “Your Face Sounds Familiar” transformations. While she had fun in all her performances, she enjoyed the stage the most when she impersonated fellow celebrity performer Rufa Mae, as well as artists Olivia Rodrigo and Yeng Constantino.
“That was a crazy ride,” she said, referring to her journey in “YFSF.” “I can’t believe I did that. Hanggang ngayon, hindi ko pa rin alam paano ko siya nagawa.”
Alexa had no formal vocal training or experience with celebrity impersonations prior to the competition. All she held onto was her grit and determination to deliver a performance she could be proud of, impressing Kapamilya viewers each time she stepped out of the “iconator.”
One of Alexa’s hobbies includes “brainrotting,” or consuming content online. Activities such as working out and doing calisthenics are among her favorite pastimes as well. Lastly, she usually spends her free time listening to music or hanging out with her close friends.
