“Kung gusto mo talagang ilaban, ilaban mo.”
This was lucky star Rave Victoria’s mantra as he took his turn of being the player in the May 10 episode of “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.” And his confidence and determination eventually paid off as he walked away with P125,000—an amount he said he hopes to donate to charities or organizations that care for the elderly, as inspired by his upbringing with his beloved grandmother, Lola Helen.

Before the game officially began, host Luis Manzano asked Rave about his “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” journey, which the “Optimistic Apo ng Tarlac” described as a life-changing experience. He also shared that being a lucky star feels a lot like being back inside “PBB,” since he’s once again surrounded by 19 amazing people whose company he genuinely enjoys.

Instead of holding on to briefcase number 5, which was already assigned to him ever since the beginning of the current season, Rave chose to swap it with briefcase number 11, held by Aubrey
Miles. He explained that since there were only 20 briefcases and his birthday falls on March 29, he simply added the numbers “2” and “9” together, leading him to choose it.
Rave decided to immediately open his original briefcase and was totally relieved to find out that it only contained P1,000. He may have eliminated P100,000 in the first round through Bassilyo’s briefcase, but he also managed to remove three low amounts.
As the game progressed, Rave unfortunately knocked out major prizes, including P1 million and P500,000—yet he stayed optimistic knowing P125,000 remained in play. In the final round, despite the other remaining amount being only P500, he still boldly said “NO DEAL” to Banker’s final offer of P62,750.
Luckily, taking the risk paid off for him, as his chosen briefcase turned out to hold the P125,000. The other lucky stars celebrated alongside Rave, who was visibly overjoyed after making the right decision.
When asked by Luis how he felt about this victory, Rave related, “Grabe, Kuya, rollercoaster talaga ‘yong experience ko rito. Pero masasabi ko lang, sundin mo lang kung ano ‘yong nasa puso mo. At kung gusto mo talagang ilaban, ilaban mo.”
Luis remarked that the blessing came to Rave because he intends to use it for a meaningful and generous cause.
