For the second part of his birthday celebration on “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal,” Luis Manzano was joined by one of his longtime friends in showbiz—the one and only “Silent Superstar,” Jodi Sta. Maria.
Since some of the “Lucky Stars” had already delivered their birthday tributes for him, the gregarious host also asked his special guest—whom he regards as among the first celebrities he ever worked with—for her wish for him. Jodi began by teasing him, “Ano bang gusto mo?” prompting a playful reply from Luis: “Kung gano’n lang, pera-pera na lang.”
Shifting to a more heartfelt tone, the actress said, “Seriously, kung ano man ‘yong mga ninanais ng puso mo, sana magkaroon ng katuparan sa buhay ninyo. So, ‘yong desires ng heart mo, sana mangyari.”
As he thanked her, whom he affectionately calls “Jodiel,” Luis quipped that one of his fervent prayers was for Negi to be removed from the show. He jokingly added that it might finally come true in that episode because of Jodi. Negi reacted, pleading, “Ms. Jodi, please. Not now. Not this time.”
