Several hours after a critically wounded Jalil (Gerald Anderson) is rescued by Jamilah (Barbie Imperial) and Omar (Edgar Mortiz), Marcus (Richard Gutierrez), Lara (Bela Padilla), and Felix (Baron Geisler) eventually reach their destination at Barangay Surga, a Muslim community in the city.
Marcus, alongside Lara and Felix, speculates that Jalil was brought somewhere inside a particular residence by his allies. Wasting no time, a large-scale search operation is then immediately carried out with the help of numerous NLEA police officers.
When no evidence or traces have been found in relation to Jalil’s actual whereabouts, Lara and the rest of the police force she had been leading are prompted to leave the scene, but Marcus takes a moment to catch Lara's attention for a quick inquiry.
Currently secretive about his doubts, Marcus carefully asks Lara about how she managed to identify his location at the Dapayan Warehouse earlier. In response, Lara explains that she had an informant who notified her about the possibility of Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas) being locked up there.
With rising skepticism upon Lara's answer, Marcus remembers the tracking device he found on his car and ponders to himself the lingering questions about why Lara might have been monitoring him all along.
Is Lara trustworthy enough or someone to be watchful of? Find out in “Blood vs Duty,” streaming on iWant and airing weeknights at 8 PM on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).
