At the peak of Edong's (Jake Cuenca) insatiable wrath, Lucas (JM de Guzman) emerges, and the two brothers share an emotional conversation until Edong responds with violence again towards Erica (Kaila Estrada), Beth (Charlie Dizon), Alice (Janella Salvador), and Mel (Sue Ramirez), his only goal being the satisfaction he can gain from ending the lives of these people who had wronged him and led him to a tragic life.
When Marco (Race Matias) attempts to interfere and Edong shoots at him, Lucas realizes that he’s left with no choice and swiftly decides to outmaneuver Edong’s hold on the gun. He then shockingly raises his weapon towards Edong to thwart his murderous advances.
For a brief moment, Edong then feigns an air of hope but eventually makes his way to the girls, prompting Lucas to fatally execute him, finally ending his misery.
With Edong's life fleeting, Lucas grieves over his death, and MABEL bears witness to his loss. As days passed, Edong’s story was widely reported, becoming a reminder of the corrupt system that destroys the lives of the innocent.
