Following the act of Edong (Jake Cuenca) shockingly ending Edward’s (Joel Molina) life, he proceeds to frighten Alice (Janella Salvador), Beth (Charlie Dizon), Erica (Kaila Estrada), and Mel (Sue Ramirez), with the intention of punishing them next.
Before he gets started, Lucas (JM de Guzman) reaches the scene quickly and attempts to calm the rampaging Edong while trying to save the girls. Tearfully, Lucas addresses his mistake, particularly that he should’ve noticed Edong’s pain all along, but he chose to believe the idea that Edong had completely recuperated inside Bagumbayan Prison since that was the easiest thing to accept.
Lucas continues to plead with Edong, saying that it isn’t the end and that they have enough time to figure out a new life together, far from the traumas that scarred their lives. In response, Edong asks if he was indeed comparable to their abusive father, Crisanto (Gerald Madrid).
Even though Lucas disagrees, Edong labels him as a liar and aims the weapon at the terrified MABEL.
