Shortly after Edong (Jake Cuenca) executes the real monster that is Edward (Joel Molina), he rejoices over the sight of Alice (Janella Salvador), Beth (Charlie Dizon), Erica (Kaila Estrada), and Mel (Sue Ramirez) altogether.
Viewing this as a golden opportunity to finally complete his vengeful mission, he cruelly raises his weapon at them, choosing whom to target next. Erica becomes the first person who gathers the courage to plead with Edong, disclosing that it was Edward who had murdered Louisa (Mutya Orquia) fourteen years ago and that this information will clear Edong’s stained reputation.
Dismissing her attempt to compromise, Edong laughs and swiftly points his gun to Mel. Erica then intensifies her words, vowing to sacrifice her life, since she should’ve defended Edong in the past.
Hearing this, Beth interferes, not wanting another casualty. She also apologizes, which Edong continues to reject, insisting that it’s too late to mend things between all of them.
Despite shaking with fear, Erica speaks again, reminding Edong that there’s still hope for him and that he should choose a new life with Lucas. However, the moment she mentions the tragic death of Dolores (Jennica Garcia), the mother of the Santiago brothers, Edong turns more furious than ever.
Following his declaration that the girls ruined his family, Lucas arrives at the right moment to stop him.
