Edward (Joel Molina) continues to menacingly recount his murder of Louisa (Mutya Orquia) until the precise moment when he hides her watch. It was the exact one that Althea (Andi Abaya) discovered, after which she realized it was the lost evidence that Beth (Charlie Dizon) spoke of in the press conference, which outlined the timeline of Edong’s (Jake Cuenca) unjust incarceration.
Upon hearing Edward’s unsettling affection for them, Beth, Mel (Sue Ramirez), and Erica (Kaila Estrada) hurl their resentful words towards him, refusing to be objectified. Beth argues that he was a phony saint, while Erica stresses that he ruined their lives as well as the Santiago brothers' just to protect his inhumane crimes.
In response to their fury, Edward draws parallels with every one of them, bringing up Erica’s sexual predator father, Mel’s abusive husband, and Beth’s neglectful father.
Growing up alongside a similarly abusive and neglectful father, Edward now evolved into the madman he despised. He then feels betrayed by how the girls forgot that he was always there to understand them.
