A fresh face to many, promising singer-songwriter Jarlo Base has already made a remarkable first impression via his stint on “Your Face Sounds Familiar.” As of this writing, he ranks fifth overall with 150 points and one win under his belt.
And during the second episode of the four-part “The Grand Showdown” special, he and his fellow celebrity performers reminisced about their winning moments on the show, among which was his memorable Round 3 performance of “Pusong Ligaw,” where he channeled Jericho Rosales with striking accuracy.
The performance left both the audience and judges swooning, earning him a total of 12 points from the jury, along with three points each from five fellow contestants for his spot-on portrayal. With a combined score of 33 points—the highest of the week—Jarlo secured the top spot on the leaderboard.
