“Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” standouts Ashley Sarmiento and Joaquin Arce energized supporters at Kapamilya Chat: The Ultim8 Meet and Greet. Kapuso and Kapamilya 3rd Big Placers Ashley and Joaquin went head-to-head in a special game of “Bring Me a Fan.”
With a twist to this classic Filipino parlor game, Joaquin and Ashley needed to bring on stage a fan who has the item that the hosts were asking for. The fastest to have a fan tag along with them earned a point.
For the first round, printed socks were chosen to be brought on stage. Ashley’s contagious enthusiasm helped her to win the first point. She gave the lucky supporter a sunflower with a note attached to it, expressing her appreciation.
In the following game, fans rushed to remove the shoelaces from their footwear. Ashley tirelessly motivated her supporters again, making her win the second round with ease.
When the third round started, Joaquin encouraged his fans to catch up to Ashley’s lead. But her strategy proved to be quicker. A promise ring from a supporter helped secure Ashley her final point.
Come fourth game, Joaquin sought help from Ashley in rallying his fans. An umbrella was jokingly stolen from another supporter, earning a laugh from Joaquin himself when he got his first point.
Before handing the winning fan his prepared sunflower and note, Joaquin roleplayed a romantic KDrama scene with them using the umbrella brought to the stage.
The next object was a National ID. A fan of LelQuin (Joaquin and “PBB Collab 2.0” Big Winner Lella Ford) won that round. The supporter can’t help but gush over the two housemates’ undeniable chemistry inside the Big Brother house.
For Joaquin’s last point, the hosts asked for the eldest audience member to come forward. Among those who lined up were some fans from the deaf community. He shared a heartfelt moment with them, doing his best to communicate through sign language.
Eventually, a woman in her late 40s was declared as the oldest. She shared that her children support her fangirling activities, encouraging her to continue what she does as long as she’s happy.
Before saying their goodbyes, Ashley and Joaquin expressed their sincere appreciation. “Mahal ko kayo, sobra!” Joaquin screamed, exhilaration written all over his face. Ashley excitedly shouted as well, “I love you guys so much!”
