Having witnessed the sacrifices his mother made for him, Marco Masa was inspired to perform a selfless act for his friends as well.
In the February 20 episode of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” Marco began his sacrifice task, where he had to single-handedly carry the Ultimate Eye modular platform to move Lella Ford, Caprice Cayetano, Ashley Sarmiento, and Krystal Mejes wherever they needed to go inside the house.
Marco shared that the task hit close to home because it reminded him of his mom’s sacrifices, especially how she would go with him to work and every taping location since he was a kid.
The housemates expressed their admiration for Marco. Joaquin Arce noted that a single piece of the platform is already extremely heavy, while Miguel Vergara recalled how they, the four boys, struggled even while carrying the sections together, so seeing Marco do it alone made it even more impressive. Lella was worried because she knew the weight he had to shoulder, even so, Caprice trusted he could handle it since he'd already proven his strength and grit in earlier tasks.
Marco transferred the Ultimate Eye from the garden to the girls’ bedroom before bringing it to the wash area, as they were required to tend to their laundry individually. "Thank you lang kami nang thank you sa kanya para maramdaman niya na na-appreciate namin siya," Lella said.
For his part, Marco reflected, "Hindi ko siya tinitingnan bilang sakripisyo. Tinitingnan ko siya as an opportunity para makagawa ng mabuti sa kapwa, maiparamdam kung paano ko pinapahalagahan 'yung kalagayan ng mga naninirahan sa Ultimate Eye."
Later on, Kuya leveled up the challenge in exchange for four plates of food for the four girls. Marci had to relocate the Ultimate Eye to different spots at Kuya’s signal, all within a limited time. It sounded manageable at first, but the cues kept coming back-to-back, leaving him with barely any time to catch his breath.
