Returning to her therapy sessions with Dr. Isla (Heidi Arima), Alice (Janella Salvador) still fails to completely remember her traumatic memory. She repeats the same scene over and over, a moving image of her smiling at her unknown captor at the market, wearing a flowery dress and green bow clips in her hair.
In frustration, she speaks to Dr. Isla, wondering about how her brain doesn’t want to recall the full length of her forgotten childhood memory. She disagrees further with Dr. Isla’s comment on her mind actually protecting her from something she is not fully prepared for yet, emphasizing that she’d had enough of the devastating events that occurred.
Back at Edward’s (Joel Molina) residence, as he gently takes care of Christina (Emma Viri), he begins talking eerily. He mentions vague details, wishing Christina should’ve seen the innocence of a child he had recently taken advantage of—hinted at as the murdered and buried Katkat.
The moment he explains that he had brought home something the child had owned to keep her in his memory forever, he closes his eyes in a satisfying manner, the same as when he seemingly savored the scent of Katkat’s bloodied hair tie.
Turning more terrifying, the horror escalates when he opens another box to reveal a green bow clip, the same as Alice’s in the traumatic memory that she has always been trying to recount with all her might.
Edward continues his unsettling narration, describing the owner of the bow clip as his favorite of all his young victims.
