What was supposed to be a joyous celebration of Aling Myrna’s (Myrna Castillo) 70th birthday turns into a nightmare as an unexpected guest suddenly shows up in front of her while she’s busy cleaning up all by herself at home—Rigor (John Estrada), who stares at her with eyes with blazing anger.
Since she’s already frail due to her age, Aling Myrna is defenseless against Rigor, who attacks her and forces her to call her son, Enteng (Jojit Lorenzo), urging him to come home immediately because she slipped on the bathroom floor and needs someone to look after her. Alarmed, Enteng quickly relays the situation to his companions, whose offer to go with him he declines, insisting he can handle it on his own.
He cautiously walks on his way home, keeping his face hidden from anyone he passes, especially once he reaches San Dimas and is just a few blocks from their house. When he finally steps inside, he is horrified to see Aling Myrna thrown onto the dining table, her hands and mouth bound, while Rigor looms over her.
Enteng tries to shoot Rigor, but the latter is quick enough to disarm him and kick him to the floor. Enteng attempts to attack him, but Rigor suddenly points his gun at Aling Myrna, whom he threatens to shoot in the head, so he has no choice but to stay where he is and express his frustration at Rigor for involving his mother in his vengeful scheme against their group.
As Rigor once again pins the blame on them for the demise of his beloved son, Santino (Ron Martin), Enteng reminds him that it is he who killed him and not them. That's the price he has to pay for using his own child for his own interest, which is to capture and exact revenge on them. Thus, if anyone is to be blamed, it’s definitely him and nobody else.
Provoked, Rigor lunges at Enteng, kicking him to the floor. Turning back to Aling Myrna, he casts a menacing glance at Enteng and asks him if he has already experienced losing a loved one and tells him that he will make them feel his sorrow. Frantic, Enteng quizzes him on what he needs from him, to which Rigor retorts that he wants him to bring Tanggol, Ramon (Christopher de Leon), and the rest of their group to him.
Even though he loves his mother so much, Enteng cannot bear the thought of betraying his friends and putting them in danger, so he urges Rigor to just kill him instead. However, Rigor is apparently not okay with his counteroffer, as he once again tortures Aling Myrna in front of Enteng until he’s able to force him to agree with his demand.
