Online sensation and popular Bisdak reggae singer Elias J. brought fun and laughter in the February 10 episode of “Kuan on One,” sharing more of his musical journey and how he rose to fame through social media.
Beyond his journey, Elias also showed his playful side in the Dakong Problema segment called “Dancing Charades,” where Elias and host Kuantie Melai Cantiveros put a playful twist on dancing. Inspired by Elias’ unique rubber tree tapping dance, the challenge required them to invent their own dance steps based on prompts drawn from a fishbowl. Each prompt had to be acted out through dance, while the other guessed the action being portrayed.
Elias took on the challenge first, moving with a lightly playful, almost sensual flair. Melai struggled to figure out whether he was acting shy or hungry, guessing but missing the mark each time. Finally, she got the right answer: “Nangatol ang baba” (Nangangati ang bibig). Melai praised Elias for turning the quirky prompt into such an entertaining dance.
When it was Melai’s turn, she danced with high energy while raising her underarms as part of the prompt. Elias tried to guess, thinking she was acting out having stinky underarms, but he missed. Adjusting, he eventually came up with the correct prompt: “Gisimutan ang ilok” (Inaamoy ang kili-kili).
For the third round, Elias relied on his facial expressions. Melai tried to guess---was he winking, making cute faces, or showing anger? None of her answers hit right. She kept guessing but eventually gave up, prompting Elias to reveal the correct action: “Gilok ang nawong” (Nakikiliti ang mukha).
Since Melai wasn’t able to guess correctly, she had to face the consequence---and Elias gamely joined her. The two were tasked to drink something sour, and their reactions made everyone in the studio bursting into laughter.
Proceeding to the fourth round, it was Melai’s turn to pick a prompt. She spread her arms wide, mimicking the motion of flying. Elias’ first guess was that she was acting like an ‘aswang’---a playful answer that made Melai immediately protest, sending the studio into laughter. Moments later, Elias managed to get it right: “Nilupad ang buhok” (Lumilipad ang buhok).
The fifth round challenged Elias, who used his hands and ears to act out the prompt, leaving Melai even more confused. She guessed that he was portraying someone who was deaf---close, but not quite right. The correct answer turned out to be “Nawala imong dalungan” (Nawawala ang tenga mo). As a result, both Elias and Melai once again faced the consequence of drinking something sour concoction.
