After he was left with no choice but to leave the lifeless body of Santino (Ron Martin) at the site of his group’s bloody clash with the Quiapo Police led by Rigor (John Estrada), Tanggol (Coco Martin) was finally given the chance to properly bid farewell to his beloved younger brother.
As soon as they were able to obtain Santino’s remains from Rigor and laid them to rest at the house of Congressman Leo Mojica (Atty. Rey Campanilla), Marites immediately reached out to Tanggol’s closest friend, Enteng (Jojit Lorenzo), to speak to her son and inform him that he could finally visit his sibling. She also relayed to him the grim situation of his friend, Ponggay (Maris Racal), inside the prison, which deeply troubled and distressed Tanggol.
Once the call ended, Tanggol and his group wasted no time and hurried to the wake of Santino, wherein Tanggol was instantly overwhelmed by emotion upon seeing the coffin that held the remains of his dearly beloved brother. He slowly walks towards it, silently taking in the sight of his brother inside the casket and his framed portrait resting atop it before finally breaking down in heartrending cries of grief.
Everyone at the funeral watched his heartbreaking final moments with Santino, with Marites and Tindeng (Charo Santos) eventually embracing Tanggol to console him.
