Right after their heated interaction with the media people who swarmed outside the venue of Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) and Erika’s (Gillian Vicencio) funerals, the Guerreros immediately went back inside and found Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) there. Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) called his attention by asking what he was doing there, to which he retorted that he also had the right to grieve.
Obviously irked by his response, Jackie (Angel Aquino) reminded him that his “backer” or ally in their family—none other than Don Gustavo—is already dead, so there’s nobody to save him anymore. Miguelito insisted that he didn’t have the right to be there, as they blame him and his brother, Tanggol (Coco Martin), as the reasons behind the tragic demise of the two members of their family. He added that as much as he would have wanted to commend and thank him for mustering the courage to gun down Tanggol, he couldn’t bring himself to be delighted by what he had done since it cost them Don Gustavo and Erika.
Miguelito asked him to leave, but Santino brazenly refused to do so, which compelled the former to use force in kicking the latter out of their house. Rigor (John Estrada) saw how Miguelito pushed Santino out of the house, which, of course, agitated him as he defended his son. He told Miguelito that although he completely understood how they were feeling at the moment, they didn’t have the right to hurt his child nor to blame him for the double tragedies that their family is going through.
This prompted Jackie to chime in, furiously asking Rigor if they should pin the blame on him because if he had only succeeded in catching and finishing off Tanggol, the deaths of Erika and Don Gustavo could have been prevented.
