It's been sixteen years since the "It's Showtime" hosts first became, well, a family. But some things never change. Like the hilariously fierce 'puksaan' between the OG ‘sisterettes’ Anne Curtis and Vice Ganda.
Every time these two queens reunite in the Showtime studio, audiences get ready for an automatic 'bardagulan' fest, or what fans call 'ViceAnne Core.' Let’s relive some of their most recent 'sass-off' moments (2025 edition) from “It’s Showtime.”
Vice’s eyebrow always shoots up whenever Anne’s 'sosyalera' side makes a surprise appearance in the most random convos, like when she was asked what her husband, Erwan Heussaff, usually cooks for her. Anne kept it simple and said, “Tomato soup.” But the gag was in the pronunciation—“toh-mah-tow”—which made Meme react in full shookt mode, "Parang ang mahal ng kamatis n'yo, girl!"
Same energy when Anne described how to eat kwek-kwek during a “Laro Laro Pick” episode, "Kakainin mo 'yung orange, and the you have the egg, and then you make it sawsaw sa suka." Serving full eye roll realness, Vice clapped back with, "Wow! Parang P1,500 ang kwek-kwek sa inyo, ah!"
Like real sisters, they love turning their OOTDs into joke material. One time, they accidentally showed up in similar outfits, prompting Vice to clench her jaw in comedic frustration and say, "Nakikigaya na ng mukha, nakikigaya pa ng damit." LOL.
She also roasted Anne’s black dress in another episode by comparing it to a maternity outfit, joking she shouldn’t be asked to dance because she’s “buntis.” Haha!
We all know Anne's spiel blunders are Vice’s all-time favorite to make fun of, but lately, it’s not just the 'bulol' but the 'bungol' moments too. In one "Laro Laro Pick" episode, a player mentioned his child was “magka-college,” but Anne responded, "Kakaalis po? Papunta saan po?" Vice was stunned and had to pause from laughing so hard at Anne’s totally off-the-mark response.
Vice also lost it when Anne accidentally said, “mga kapwa ko OFWs” while reading her spiels. Meme joked that maybe Anne lowkey worked overseas without telling anyone, that’s why she had been MIA from the show for almost six months.
But Anne got her revenge when they reminisced about their first 'sisterette' bonding trip in Cebu, and demonstrated Vice’s hilariously awkward pose from one of their photos.
