Long hours on set? No problem! Kapamilya stars know exactly how to survive with their must-have taping essentials. In this video, our favorite celebs share the items they always bring with them to tapings to make downtime on set more bearable and productive.

For Rain Celmar and Vivoree Esclito, a taping chair is non-negotiable, perfect for when they need to take a nap and recharge. “Idol Kids Philippines Spotlight” host Shanaia Gomez agrees, but she makes sure to also bring a blanket for maximum comfort.

But for “Ghosting” star JM Ibarra, napping between takes isn’t his thing. Whenever he has free time on set, you’ll find him with his game console. He'd rather play than sleep because dozing off before a scene might make it harder to stay in character.

Pepe Herrera's best friend during long waits on set is his pair of earphones which he considers an all-around essential, whether he’s rehearsing a song or just unwinding a bit with music. As a singer-songwriter, Jeremy Glinoga likewise treats his headphones like a constant partner he can’t leave behind. Zach Guerrero also enjoys passing the time by listening to music or watching videos, which is why earphones are a must-have; they let him enjoy his break without bothering anyone else on set.

Sparks Camp's” Mother Sparker, Mela Habijan, isn’t exactly a water person but she knows she can’t do without it during long hours of taping. So she always brings a tumbler, which is refillable, convenient, and better for the environment. “Sins of the Father” actor Ace Carrera considers a tumbler just as essential, while Binsoy Namoca also mentions water as his taping must-have since he tends to get thirsty quickly.

Kolette Madelo always keeps inhaler scents in her taping bag for a quick cooling effect while waiting on set, along with water and her script. Speaking of scripts, Rufa Mae Quinto says she prefers using a hard copy, which is why she always carries a highlighter to mark her lines.

Lei Ang has earned the reputation as the "Sins of the Father" family's promoter of food trips, so she never shows up on set without something to share with everyone. Feeding her castmates is her love language. But of course, the rest of the cast comes prepared too. Junjun Quintana says he also brings crackers with him.

Reign Parani, meanwhile, can’t go without what she calls her “lola scents”—ointments, inhalers, and the like.

Long days become a little easier when you’ve got your must-haves by your side. Our favorite celebs know this all too well!
