Patrick (Joshua Garcia), Mia (Anne Curtis), and Matmat (Carlo Aquino) arrive together at OK Hospital, where they run into Nanay Li (Rio Locsin) and Gemma (Kaori Oinuma). Unlike Gemma's obvious annoyance, Nanay Li greets Mia with motherly warmth and even invites her to visit their home so she can cook for her, and then compliments her new short hair.
Matmat interrupts to poke fun at Mia’s haircut and bring up her previous scuffle with Gemma, which happened the last time she went to Nanay Li's compound. On their way to the mess hall, he spots Mia holding onto Patrick, prompting him to pull the two apart and take his brother by the arm while Mia is left to walk to her class by herself.
At the lecture hall, Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz) welcomes Mia back and is pleasantly surprised to learn she’s been enjoying her class, since he assumed she only returned because it was Patrick who arranged to have her suspension lifted. Patrick had, in fact, made that request in exchange for agreeing to Doc Anok’s instructions to keep an eye on Zelda (Ana Abad-Santos). Curious, Doc Anok asks Mia if she knows Zelda, to which she explains that she only recognizes her as one of her students.
After Doc Anok exits, Mia takes in the view and breaks into a 'kilig' smile, her heart fluttering at the thought that Patrick had gone out of his way to bring her back to her class.
