In a previous episode, Eden (Agot Isidro) brings up the love letter she found under Samuel (Michael De Mesa)'s pillow and asks who it is from. To her surprise, he mentions Olivia (Maricel Laxa)’s name. Eden's inquiry halts as he brushes away the food she is holding, oblivious to Olivia secretly watching them.
In this episode, Eden is both shocked and angered upon learning that Olivia has requested Doc Anok (Bobot Mortiz) to put her in charge of Samuel care instead, so she confronts Olivia and accuses her of working behind her back, which she insinuates is driven by their rivalry as potential Nurse Manager of the facility.
Olivia, however, coldly throws at her the lapses she had in handling Samuel, particularly the time he tried to strangle Mia (Anne Curtis). Eden defends herself by saying it was merely an isolated case that happened only because Olivia insisted on keeping Mia in the hospital as a lecturer for the patients.
Eden stresses the difference between them is that she only focuses on the patient’s recovery and never interferes in their personal relationships, which is the exactly the reason she disagreed with Olivia’s belief that Samuel and Mia need each other just because they are family. She firmly asserts that whatever methods Olivia has in caregiving, she should apply them to her own patients instead of taking one away from her.
