From letting Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) easily take advantage of her in the past, Jackie (Angel Aquino) finally mustered the courage and strength to protect herself from him after he attempted to violate her for the umpteenth time.
Just when he was about to overpower her, Jackie fortunately retrieved a straight razor from the bathroom sink, which she used to slash him on the hand. She threatened to kill him, which irked Don Gustavo. Thus, he reminded her that it was only him who made her happy in their household, as well as the one who provided her with a better life and who created her into the woman that she is now.
However, Jackie furiously told him that he had only made her stronger and tougher each time he abused her. In return, she went on to remind Don Gustavo that he can no longer take hold of her now since she’s more powerful than him now since she’s already a congresswoman and her son is the mayor of Manila, while he is just a useless old man.
She reiterated that he couldn’t take advantage of her anymore before she infuriatingly shooed him away. As soon as Don Gustavo left, Jackie breathed a sigh of relief and looked at her beautiful reflection in the mirror.
