After his nerve-wracking confession to Rigor (John Dimaguiba) regarding Erika’s (Gillian Vicencio) pregnancy, Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) immediately goes back to their room to check on her and finds her sitting on the bed as she listens to their conversation. He relays to her that he’s just compelled to tell his father the truth since he wants him to return her to her family, and Santino doesn’t want her and their baby to be taken away from him.
Erika gets anxious upon hearing this, telling Santino that she doesn’t want to go back to her family either, since she’s certain that they will only force her to undergo abortion in order to protect their reputation. But Santino assures her that he will not allow that to happen and that he will fight for her—much to Erika’s kilig.
As Erika apologizes to him for ruining his life and for causing further trouble to him, Santino tells her that he is actually grateful that she came into his life because she has changed it for the better. According to Santino, it’s her who has helped him know himself more, as well as understand life and the world better, making Erika feel extra thrilled, especially when he tells her how important she is to him.
This cheesy and sappy exchange between them eventually leads to an intimate moment.
