Just when it was assumed that Divina (Rosanna Roces) was already determined to depart from Team Wating along with their comrade Emil (Jay Gonzaga), her concern for Tanggol (Coco Martin) still prevailed in the end, as the Montenegros were about to face the Guerreros in their much-awaited war.
She initially asked for Tanggol’s permission for her and Emil to leave, for she had to check the damage that her businesses had sustained from the massive and intense wars that their group had gone through.
Based on his reaction, he was apparently hesitant to let them go, but Divina reminded him that their original agreement then was purely business, so she couldn’t comprehend why they had to get entangled in his family’s mess.
Emil chimed in to ask Tanggol if they still have to take part in his fight considering that it’s his family’s trouble and they supposedly have nothing to do with it. Tanggol was obviously irked, so he eventually gave them his blessing to leave with a tinge of guilt-tripping, as he implied how upset he was that money was more important to them than their friendship.
While Emil was already eager to leave, Divina had a sudden change of heart, as she seemingly got pricked by Tanggol’s words. Besides, she wanted to prove that she’s a good and reliable friend to him, as well as that she’s not only after money.
