While busy promoting his first big-screen role in the Cinemalaya entry "Child No. 82," JM Ibarra also brought his charm and candor to Kapamilya Chat, where he took on the fun and unpredictable “Spill or Chill Challenge” that dared him to either reveal answers to juicy questions or face a consequence.
When asked about the cheesiest line he had ever told someone, JM shared that it was a simple "I love you." For him, nothing could be sweeter than those three words whether expressed to a romantic partner, to family, or even to friends, though he is more of an “acts of service” type of guy, the kind who prefers to show his love through effort and gestures, but he also tries to balance his actions with words so that nothing is left unsaid.
Love for JM doesn’t just come from people but also from his pet dog, whose little antics he can't resist.
JM paused for a moment when asked about the last time he felt jealous, and then recalled a 'selos' scene from the iWant series "Ghosting," which he topbills with his fellow "PBB Gen 11" alum Fyang Smith. Because his character had to channel that emotion, he tried to imagine a situation in real life that would genuinely make him jealous so he could deliver the scene convincingly. He added that he'd likely feel jealous if he ever felt ignored by a significant someone.
He also divulged that his social media searches are often about cars and shoes, which he described as part of his “dream buys.”
Romance was, of course, part of the discussion. JM described his life and heart status as “happy and kuntento." And when asked about his ideal date, he said he’d rather just go along with whatever his partner wants because sometimes, the sweetest dates are the spontaneous ones.
