After the call, Doña Pilar (Celia Rodriguez) commands her henchmen to kill Alfredo (Juan Rodrigo), which Tindeng (Charo Santos) eagerly objects to. This piques Pilar’s interest, so she quizzes her on why Alfredo seems to be very important to her, to which Tindeng refuses to give any answer.
Thus, Pilar just threatens to kill him along with her daughter Marites (Cherry Pie Picache), and imparts that she plans to finish off Tindeng’s loved ones one by one in front of her until she begs to take their place. Fearing that Pilar will make it come true, Tindeng asks her not to get them involved and just channel all her resentment at her.
As Pilar leaves, Alfredo promises Tindeng to do whatever he can for them to be able to escape. He consoles her as well by telling her not to blame herself for their current predicament since it is all Gustavo’s (Dante Rivero) fault. He also advises her to take courage and tells her, “Sa dami na ng pinagdaanan mo, ngayon ka pa ba susuko?”
Meanwhile, the groups of Tanggol (Coco Martin) and Ramon (Christopher de Leon) gear up for battle at the Montenegro mansion. Ramon initially rejects Marites’ plea for them to allow her to come with them but eventually agrees, as he makes her promise to just stay inside the car as they fight with the minions of Doña Pilar.
