To be able to travel and go to different destinations here and abroad is definitely a dream for many of us! And apparently, this is among the many dreams that we get to share with our favorite celebrities, who usually choose to spend their hard-earned money and their free time from work to go on leisure trips.
While we often see them traveling all by themselves or with their trusty companions, have you ever wondered if they fancy going to their dream destinations with their fellow celebrities? Well, we recently asked some of our favorite Kapamilya (and even Kapuso) stars who their dream celebrity travel buddies are and collated their responses in this exclusive video!
Ever since coming back to the outside world, we’re certain that the housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition” have surely been looking forward to travel.
And for Kapuso actor Dustin Yu, it’s his final duo partner Bianca De Vera whom he wishes to go on a trip with. But it seems that Bianca is not yet ready to travel with just the two of them, so she would likely tap ABS-CBN Head of Star Magic and TV Production Director Laurenti Dyogi to be her travel buddy—with Dustin just joining them.
AC Bonifacio, meanwhile, fancies to share a trip with Kathryn Bernardo, confessing that she actually admires how aesthetic her photo dumps are during her travels, how her outfits match with everything, and how awesome the activities and places she tries, making her inspired to go as well to that country.
We may have expected him to mention his final duo partner and Kapuso star Mika Salamanca, Brent Manalo indeed surprised us when he mentioned his celebrity crush Anne Curtis instead, mainly because she has gone to a lot of places already.
Speaking of Brent, Kapuso rising star Charlie Fleming confessed that if she would go in an out-of-the-country trip, she would want to do it alongside him, as they imagine the two of them going shopping, taking pictures, and just having a fun and chill trip. Her final duo partner Esnyr Ranollo, on the other hand, dreams of going around the world with international stars Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid.
Meanwhile, it would be her celebrity barkada for Shuvee Etrata, which include her fellow “PBB Collab” alumna and best friend Ashley Ortega. According to her, it has actually been their dream of embarking on a European trip and basking in the romantic vibe of Paris, France.
We also got to catch up with some of the talented ensemble of “ASAP,” who all enthusiastically revealed their dream celebrity travel buddy.
Although she has already tried traveling with her fellow diva Klarisse de Guzman during their out-of-the-country and out-of-town shows, Jona still yearns to experience going on a leisure trip with her. “Masasabi kong napaka-kuwela niya talagang kasama, hindi ka mabo-bore kapag kasama siya. Ang saya-saya niya lagi kasama. Patatawanin ka niya,” she said about the “Nation’s Mowm.”
Yeng Constantino, on the other hand, wishes for her and her good friends Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto to have a concert tour together because they’re just very happy together. Attesting to that is how they tend to lose their voices more on laughing at each other’s jokes, stories, and antics, than on belting out songs during their performances.
Aside from her loveteam partner KD Estrada and her loved ones, Alexa Ilacad expressed her desire to experience traveling with her longtime friends Darren Espanto and AC Bonifacio, which they’ve never done yet. Even though she’s well-aware that they have differences when it comes to traveling, she still wants to see what’s going to happen on their trip. And we think that they can go with them if ever that happens since KD would also love to try traveling with AC and Darren.
AC is also one of the people on top of Jeremy Glinoga’s head whom he wishes to experience going on a trip with, along with their “iWant ASAP” co-hosts Emilio Daez and Rain Celmar. He wanted to see if they could finish an itinerary or if they’re going to end up getting lost along the way.
ASAP Rockoustic Heartthrob Kobie Brown also chooses a good friend of his, Joao Constancia, as his dream travel buddy, because he finds him so fun to be with. Since they’re close with each other, he’s certain that they are going to have a good time wherever they might go.
Similarly, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano will likely go with his closest friends and fellow OPM icons Ogie Alcasid and Martin Nievera on a trip. According to him, he likes to be with Ogie because there’s never a dull moment whenever he is around and, at the same time, he can have deep talks with him. Meanwhile, the main reason why Gary loves to be with Martin is because of how organized he is, not only with his own stuff but with his as well, which he gets to experience every time they have a concert tour together.
He may be a famous rockstar, but not a lot of people probably know that Bamboo is actually a fan of tennis. And it was only revealed when he mentioned legendary American tennis player Pancho Gonzales as his dream celebrity travel buddy. If ever the tennis star is still alive and this fantasy will come true, it would be a great honor for Bamboo to watch the tennis open with him.
With how she appears to be outgoing, Jason Dy feels like he would enjoy travelling with Rihanna, as he imagines them drinking booze, hopping from one club to another, and going on a foodtrip.
Like Jason, Kyla also eyes an international celebrity as her buddy, who for her is Gisele Bundchen, because she admires her simplicity and her closeness with nature. This makes her conclude that they will indeed have a great time exploring different places together.
The talented boys of BGYO—Mikki Claver, JL Torreliza, Akira Morishita, Nate Porcalla, and Gelo Rivera—meanwhile didn’t have to look any further for they all agreed that they are each other’s dream celebrity travel buddies and that their destination would be Madagascar.
It can be deduced that the ultimate idol of “Tawag ng Tanghalan All-Star Grand Resbak” champion Marko Rudio is OPM rock icon Bamboo as he shared that it has been his aspiration to rock various stages abroad with him, which would double as their travel.
Meanwhile, “TNT: The School Showdown” grand winner Carmelle Collado looks forward to the opportunity to be able to bond with Angeline Quinto for she perceives her as someone fun to be with. Since she and “TNT Season 6” champ Lyka Estrella both want to be with her and their idol Angeline, we wonder if it’s possible for the three of them to go on a trip together, along with here other close friend Marielle Montellano.
Despite their busy schedules, it’s indeed a delight to be able to catch up with some of the stars of our favorite Kapamilya teleseryes.
First off was “Sins of the Father” actor RK Bagatsing, who also didn’t have to look further anymore because he has actress Jane Oineza as his girlfriend.
They may be on the opposite sides of the story in “Incognito,” but Lance Pimentel apparently has a tight bond with his co-star Ian Veneracion as he revealed that it was him who influenced his interest in motorcycles. Although he had already experienced travelling with him before, it’s still him whom he wants to become his celebrity travel buddy.
“It’s Okay To Not Be Okay” leading man Joshua Garcia will likely tap his onscreen partner Anne Curtis and “Unbreak My Heart” co-star Jodi Sta. Maria because of how well-travelled both are. He imparted, "Naalala ko kapag magtra-travel ako, nagtatanong ako lagi kung saan pwedeng pumunta kasi siya ‘yong marami nang napuntahan at mas may experience sa travelling.”
Anne Curtis, on the other hand, would pick global icon Audrey Hepburn, who has been one of her life pegs. She would love to go with her do her humanitarian work and to spend an afternoon with her over a glass of scotch or whisky, which seems to be a habit of the late British actress when she was still alive.
Her character in “The Four Bad Boys and Me” may appear tough but Anji Salvacion confesses that she actually likes experience being given “princess treatment” by “Sins of the Father” lead star Gerald Anderson if ever they would go on a trip together. She chooses him because he’s an explorer and fond of outdoor activities just like her.
Harvey Bautista and Dustine Mayores also named their dream celebrity travel buddies, who are Filipina actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista and their “The Four Bad Boys and Me” castmate River Joseph, respectively.
Desiree del Valle and Mutya Orquia, who headlined the “Scarred Daughter” episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya,” also disclosed theirs. For Desiree, it’s none other than her beloved husband and go-to travel partner Boom Labrusca, while it’s her ultimate idol Kathryn Bernardo and friends Krystal Mejes and Lance Lucido for Mutya.
And lastly, for JM De Guzman, who topbilled MMK’s “Cardong Trumpo Story” imparted that it would be Joross Gamboa for him since aside from he’s fun to be with, he also likes that he’s into God, which might help in his spiritual journey.
