From sweeping us off our feet and making our hearts flutter in the well-loved ABS-CBN Studios romantic comedy digital flick “The Four Bad Boys and Me,”  promising young actors Gelo Rivera, Harvey Bautista, River Joseph, and Dustine Mayores went on to impress us with their eloquence, charm, and wit as they appeared together in an episode of Kapamilya Chat.

During their guesting, the quartet didn’t just discuss what the movie is all about, as well as shared their experiences working on it and with one another, but also enthusiastically accepted the challenges specially prepared for them by the team.

One of them is the “Mr. Suplado Challenge,” in which they were divided into two teams—Harvey and River, then Gelo and Dustine. In this game, each tandem was given two minutes to try making the other one laugh by delivering the jokes that they picked from the bowl. Once at least one member of the duo breaks his poker or “suplado” face and bursts into laughter or even giggles, a point would be given to the other pair.

The first team to attempt their luck and showcase their hidden comedic skills was Harvey and River, who succeeded in making their opponents chuckle twice. It was when River dropped the “cue-cumber” pun that tickled Dustine and the “tatlong lalaking kalbo” (or three bald men) joke that affected Gelo so much.

Meanwhile, although their contenders tried to keep their straight faces to their jokes, Gelo and Dustine were still able to make them laugh once via their joint effort in the latter’s “kung flu” joke, which was a response to the question, “Anong sakit ang madalas na nakukuha ng martial artists?” (or “What type of sickness do martial artists usually get?”)

Watch this video to hear these jokes, straight from these dashing and talented lads!

Apart from Gelo, Harvey, River, and Dustine, “The Four Bad Boys and Me” also stars Anji Salvacion, Brent Manalo, AC Bonifacio, Analain Salvador, Gela Alonte, and Krystal Brimner. It’s directed by brilliant filmmaker Benedict Mique and is based on the Wattpad series of the same title. Show your love and support to them by watching the movie exclusively on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s official YouTube channel and iWant!
