Even though Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) went to the Guerreros with good intentions—which was to reconnect with his estranged father, Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero), and to ask him to stop fighting with the Montenegros, particularly with her firstborn, Tanggol (Coco Martin)—Ramon (Christopher de Leon) explained to her that her efforts would only be put in vain since it’s already impossible to put a halt on the raging war between the two families.
Ramon told her that peace can only be achieved once the Guerreros decided to surrender to the Montenegros since he would never raise the white flag and put to waste all the sacrifices and hardships that their family had to go through in order to for them to get to where they are at present.
While it’s impossible anymore for him to change, Ramon told Marites that the decision on what to do in this situation is already upon their son, Tanggol.
