As soon as she arrived at the Montenegro mansion, Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) was welcomed by Ramon (Christopher de Leon), who admonished her for leaving without informing and for insisting to go to the Guerreros despite their warning, which he considered as “reckless”.
Olivia (Chanda Romero) and Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) then arrived where they were, with the latter alleging Marites of already starting with her treacherous scheme. Marites refuted her allegation by asserting that she’s not a traitor and explaining that she just went there to request for a ceasefire to his estranged father and his family in exchange of returning to them the properties that Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) had given to Tindeng (Charo Santos) decades ago.
This enraged Don Julio and called her irresponsible for not thinking that Don Gustavo might only use it to further empower them and continue the war between their families. However, Marites assured him that Don Gustavo would heed her request since he gave her his word, to which Olivia expressed her doubts for she knew that the Guerrero patriarch “would never, ever agree to something like that.”
Olivia tried to snatch the documents away from Marites, telling her that more than anyone else, it was Doña Pilar (Celia Rodriguez) who actually has the right to those properties because it was her who worked hard in order for the Guerreros to obtain them. As Ramon meddled with them, Olivia vowed to take back everything that is rightfully hers.
