After not seeing and knowing the real identity of her father ever since she was born, Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) finally had the chance to not just meet but to also embrace and speak with her estranged dad, Don Gustavo Guerrero (Dante Rivero).
As the latter expressed his yearning to see Tindeng (Charo Santos), Marites told him that her mom, on the other hand, is definitely not interested in seeing him because of what he had done to her.
Miguelito chimed in to their heartwarming moment by asking Marites if her reason for meddling with their family was because of money, to which she clapped back by saying that she’s not really after their wealth.
Her one and only reason for going there was to plead for a ceasefire between the Montenegros and the Guerreros, even though that would mean having to return to them all the property that Don Gustavo had given Tindeng many years ago. Moreover, she also asked them to stop going after Tanggol (Coco Martin), whom Miguelito (Jake Cuenca) considers his stiffest rival.
His astonishment further amplified after Marites confessed that Tanggol is her son with the Montenegro scion, Ramon (Christopher de Leon), whom they regard as an enemy. Thus, making Tanggol—the man they’ve been trying to kill—their relative, which painted shock onto the faces of the Guerreros. Before she left, Marites pleaded to them one last time to finally put an end to the incessant strife and to stop going after Tanggol.
