It was absolutely an eventful night for Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) and Tanggol (Coco Martin). Apart from the deadly explosion during his team’s miting de avance, the mother-and-son tandem also learned the shocking news about their real connection with the cold-blooded Guerreros and the unexpected involvement of Santino (Ronwaldo Martin) in the said bombing incident that almost claimed Tanggol’s life.
As if finding out that Don Gustavo Guerrero (Dante Rivero) is her estranged father, making both her and her son certified Guerreros, Marites also learned from Tanggol that it was actually Santino who attempted to murder him. He found out about it from his friends, who engaged in an intense shootout with the members of the Red Phoenix following the explosion and retrieved a bomb detonator that fell from Santino’s pocket as he ran off with his group.
When Tanggol mentioned it to her, Marites, of course, didn’t believe it since she knew how much Santino loves him. But Tanggol insisted that it’s definitely impossible since Santino harbors hate against him and he’s the son of Rigor (John Estrada).
