As Santino Dimaguiba (Ronwaldo Martin) failed to fulfill his personal mission of killing Miguelito Guerrero (Jake Cuenca) after the latter was able to catch him red-handed, he quickly ran and sought refuge until he made it to the room of Erika (Gillian Vicencio).
It can be recalled that the last time they’d seen each other was before Santino left her at the hideout of Red Phoenix, as she sought his help to hide her from her family. Since she’d been itching to leave their house, Erika convinced Santino to take her away with him, which he initially objected to. But he suddenly changed his mind after she offered to help him flee from their mansion.
With nowhere to go since her grandpa Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero), dad Roberto (Albert Martinez), brother Miguelito, and their minions were outside the house, Gillian came up with the brilliant idea of distracting them using her car for them to be able to escape, which indeed worked.
