As the Big Night draws closer, Kuya’s surprises just keep getting bigger for the Big Four duos of "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition." In the June 30 episode, viewers were treated to a series of big moments, starting with the unexpected appearance of the Unkabogable Star herself, Vice Ganda.
Vice surprised everyone by casually entering the house, as if she was just dropping by for a glass of water. But the moment she stepped into the living room, the housemates were completely starstruck, screaming in excitement at the sight of their unexpected visitor.
After a round of hilarious banter, Vice settled in with the housemates for a motivational talk. She asked if they would still choose to join “PBB” even if they were already super famous. Will Ashley answered that he joined the reality show for the experience, to grow, and to step out of his comfort zone, and so would definitely do it again.
Vice then reminded the housemates that they are all limitless but warned them not to become complacent, “Kasi 'pag masyado na tayong komportable, nawawala na 'yung passion, nawawala na 'yung learning.”
“Ang daming magagaling tapos, bakit wala na? Bakit hindi na ganito? Kasi nawala 'yung gutom,” she added, before congratulating the housemates for overcoming so many challenges inside Bahay Ni Kuya. Vice capped off her visit by taking a group photo with the housemates before saying her goodbyes.
The episode also featured what netizens jokingly dubbed a “meet the parents” moment for the DusBi tandem, Dustin Yu and Bianca de Vera, prior to the June 28 eviction. First visitor was Dustin’s dad, Peter, who shared with Kuya how proud he is of Dustin’s dedication to helping the family, especially in supporting his siblings’ education. Dustin ran into his father’s arms when he saw him, and they shared a heartfelt conversation where Daddy Peter assured his son how proud he is of him, win or lose.
Next came Bianca’s touching reunion with her mom, Aileen, who expressed just how much she missed Bianca. The mother-daughter exchanged endless “I love yous” and warm hugs. Mommy Aileen also gave Bianca a necklace that has the ashes of her beloved dog, Peach, who passed away during her time inside the house.
The other housemates squealed in kilig' when Mommy Aileen greeted Dustin, saying it was nice to finally see him in person.
Just like the other housemates, Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca a.k.a. BreKa also got surprise visits from their parents. Brent described his reunion with his mom, Mariel, as feeling just like the excitement he always gets when she comes home from the States.
Meanwhile, Mika was convinced there was no way her OFW mom could come. She thought the video message from Mommy Bambi was all she’d get, and then asked for a few minutes to compose herself after watching it, overwhelmed with sadness thinking she might be the only housemate whose parent couldn’t visit. That’s why Mika was completely stunned when she saw Mommy Bambi waiting for her in the garden. She couldn’t believe she was finally hugging her mom, who also brought the wonderful news that her brother is expecting a baby.
