Liam (Donny Pangilinan) and Luna (Maymay Entrata) make their way through the resort, searching the area while staying discreet to avoid Uno’s (Joel Torre) armed men. Their nerves heighten as they see more goons scattered around. Meanwhile, Olsen (Kyle Echarri) and Ice (Kai Montinola), escaping from the attackers, plan to hide in the ventilation duct. Seeing Ice’s fear, Olsen gently holds her hand to calm her down. “Basta, nandito ako,” he reassures her.
Soon, an announcement echoes through the resort’s PA system---it is Uno, threatening everyone. “Huwag na kayong mahiya. Magpakita na kayo,” he calls out to the officers. “Alam kong pinadala kayo rito ni Major Domingo (Bart Guingona).” He warns that no matter where they hide, they will be found. “Buhay ang kapalit sa pagtapak n’yo rito!”
Everyone listens in fear, including Magnus (Raymond Bagatsing), Greta (Lorna Tolentino), and Wendy (Janice de Belen). Uno then plays a live broadcast showing Tres torturing one of the hostages. The guests in the banquet hall watch in horror as the scene unfolds. Uno continues to taunt the authorities, blaming them for the hostage’s suffering. “Buhay ang kabayaran sa pakikialam n’yo!” he declares.
Through Uno’s command, Tres shoots the hostage, leaving the others in despair. “Sana nagustuhan ninyo ang palabas namin,” Uno sneers through the system. He warns the police to leave the island, reminding them that even the VIP guests are not safe. He threatens that his contacts outside will inform him if the officers truly back off. Finally, he gives them one hour to leave---or more lives will be in danger.
