When Olsen (Kyle Echarri) and Liam (Donny Pangilinan) finally cross paths after being apart for a while, Olsen doesn’t hesitate to reveal the truth about Wendy (Janice de Belen) and Greta’s (Lorna Tolentino) darkest secret---a confession that only fuels his anger. With their friendship now hanging by a thread, Wendy grows even more anxious in the December 18 episode of “Roja.”
After the heated tension between Liam and Olsen, Luna (Maymay Entrata) approaches Olsen and urges him not to blame Liam, insisting he had nothing to do with Greta’s crimes. Olsen, however, is taken aback, thinking Luna is siding with Liam. “Pati ba naman ikaw? Iniisip mong sinungaling yung nanay ko?” he asks, which Luna quickly denies. Still, Olsen accuses her of favoring Liam simply because he’s her best friend.
As the two continue arguing, Liam tries to tell Olsen that what he knows might not be the whole truth. The tension flares up once more, prompting Wendy to step in. “Tigilan n’yo na muna ’yan. Hindi na nga natin alam kung anong nangyayari sa labas… ‘yan pa ang uunahin niyo?” she says, clearly frustrated.
Later on, Luna tries to comfort the worried Wendy, reminding her that Liam and Olsen have already built a strong friendship---and that their skills in martial arts will surely come in handy when saving everyone from the goons and it would definitely impress Wendy. Ice (Kai Montinola), who is with them, agrees and shares how the two once saved them from armed men, echoing Luna’s reassurance.
However, Wendy can’t help but dwell on their issues. “Pero magkagalit na naman sila… parang mas tumindi pa nga yung galit ni Olsen ngayon,” she admits, worried that this rift might stop the two from helping each other---or worse, turn them into enemies.
