Carefully laying out his plans, Samuel (Gerald Anderson) tells Diego (Tirso Cruz III) that he can’t carry out the command to hunt down and kill Roldan (Joko Diaz) and Jacob (JC De Vera), claiming he’s having a hard time locating them. Instead, he pitches a new approach. Flashbacks show Samuel explaining his exact strategy to his group.
He plans to use Enzo’s abduction to lure Roldan out of hiding, knowing he’ll be shaken by his son’s disappearance. “Paniniwalain ko siya na kayo [Diego] ang dahilan kung bakit siya nawawala,” Samuel says, confident that Roldan will retaliate against Diego. He intends to place Diego in a public setting to bait Roldan into attacking.
To ensure Diego agrees, Samuel plays on his ego and challenges him—saying that if Diego can’t handle it, they’ll go with another plan. Diego, of course, insists that Roldan doesn’t scare him, so he agrees and puts his trust in Samuel.
