She may seem to be moved and swayed by everything that he had shared with her, but Ponggay (Maris Racal) reminded Tanggol (Coco Martin) that she only came with him there because he saved her and her father.
She insisted that just because he had been nice to her and her family doesn’t mean that she will not arrest him anymore since she’s still a police officer after all. Thus, she warned him that she would already arrest her the next time that they would cross paths again since they would already be enemies by that time.
Tanggol told her that he definitely has no problem if she chooses to do so because he understands his duty. However, he will not treat her as an enemy. Furthermore, the reason why he tells her all that is because he wants someone to know the whole truth before he dies.
Ponggay seems to further see Tanggol’s kindness and sincerity when he suddenly drapes his jacket around her to prevent her from getting harassed by perverts on her way home since she’s still wearing lingerie then.
