In her pursuit of gaining at least the trust of her unico hijo, Divina (Rosanna Roces) didn’t just treat the wounds and bruises that Rockyboy (Baron Geisler) had sustained during his vicious encounter with Tanggol (Coco Martin) earlier but also promised to help him exact vengeance against him.
As Divina apologizes to him for dragging him into her mess since it’s her whom Tanggol is really after, Rockyboy seems to have softened towards her, as he tells her that she shouldn’t be the one to apologize for what had happened to him. He was apparently further touched when Divina said that she would do everything to protect him since he’s the most important person in her life.
Apart from finally calling her “Ma” again, Rockyboy also apologized to Divina for being cruel towards her and conveyed his appreciation for her unconditional love for him. They went on to cry and embrace each other, much to the surprise and delight of Brando (Roi Vinzon), since he had been waiting for this moment to come.
