Luna (Maymay Entrata) calls over Olsen (Kyle Echarri), wanting to talk to him, and the latter already knows it will be about his ongoing conflict with Liam (Donny Pangilinan). The two share laughter at first but later turn serious, with Chief Ben (Levi Ignacio) overhearing their conversation. “P’re, pareho ko kayong kaibigan. Kaya pwede ba mag-usap na kayo?” Luna convinces Olsen. Olsen reminds her of what almost happened the last time he talked to Liam. Luna emphasizes that this might be their last chance to talk, as Liam is bound to leave for his scholarship grant.
Apparently, Olsen does not know this. “Tinuloy niya rin ‘yung New York, New York na ‘yan ah?” he reacts. Luna makes him realize the deeper reasons why Liam is leaving, apart from pursuing his dreams, and this sends Olsen into deep thought.
After hearing Olsen and Luna’s conversation, Chief Ben (Levi Ignacio) heads over to Liam, as he has also just found out that he is leaving. Carrying his luggage, Liam says he plans to call him once he gets to Manila. The older man assures him that he understands his reasons, “Nakakalungkot lang na aalis ka nang hindi man lang kayo nagkakaayos ni Olsen.” Liam reiterates that he tried to forget everything that caused their friendship to fall apart, “Pero masakit po talaga ‘yung ginawa niya sa akin.”
The chief recalls their moments of training together, when he would teach them the right techniques of defense. “Marami na rin kayong pinagsamahan, pero pinanghihinayang ko lang.” Liam thanks him sincerely and even asks him to attend his graduation. The two exchange farewells on an emotional note.
