Oops, they did it again! Aside from giving us bop after bop, Britney Spears is also one solid performer---and there’s no doubt that she delivers world-class performances. In “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” the spotlight continues to shine on the pop icon through the years, as celebrity performers transform into her most unforgettable personas.

Here are our 7 Ka-Familiars who channeled the Princess of Pop with iconic looks, sultry vocals, and top-notch performances, bringing Britney’s magic to the “YFSF” stage.

Myrtle Sarrosa (YFSF Season 2, 2015) - “I'm a Slave 4 U”

Myrtle captured Britney’s signature thinness of voice and embodied her sultry stage presence performing her 2001 hit “I'm a Slave 4 U”--- complete with choreography and a real-life albino python reminiscent of Britney’s MTV VMA performance.

Judge Gary Valenciano was in awe, pointing out two things: Myrtle’s vocals and her stamina. “Bagay na bagay ‘yung boses ni Britney Spears sa boses mo,” he praised. Second, her overall singing and dancing, “Ang ginawa mo, gumalaw ka from beginning to end.” He emphasized that he hoped beforehand that as she moved throughout the performance, her vocals wouldn’t be sacrificed---and they were not. Judge Gary was amazed.

Meanwhile, Mentor Jed Madela commended her confidence and authenticity, “This was one of my favorites tonight.” Judge Sharon Cuneta echoed the sentiment, saying she never saw Myrtle as herself during the performance: “It was so natural to you, kitang-kita lahat ng efforts na binuhos mo.”

Myrtle placed 8th at the end of the season.

Melai Cantiveros (Season 1, 2015) - “...Baby One More Time”

Melai delivered an iconic take on Britney’s debut hit “...Baby One More Time,” proving she is a total performer. She didn’t fail to bring emotion, energy, and fun to the stage.

All smiles, Judge Sharon commented, “Nakakagulat in a very special way.” She was amazed with Melai's dancing skills. Mentor Jed applauded her entertainment value, “Leveled up lahat! Sobrang nag-enjoy ako.” Lastly, judge Gary added, “Sa nakikita namin, nag-eenjoy ka. Challenge para sa’yo pero nag-eenjoy ka.”

Melai was the winner of the first season.

Klarisse de Guzman (Season 3, 2021) - “Oops!...I Did It Again”

Taking a break from being a Soul Diva, Klarisse transformed into the Princess of Pop with her performance of “Oops!...I Did It Again” released in 2000. Wearing the red catsuit and iconic white eyeshadow, she had the judges cheering as her voice sounded exactly like Britney’s.

“The voice, excellent. It was so entertaining.” Judge Ogie was all praise for Klarisse. “Kayang-kaya ni Klarisse si Britney,” Judge Sharon added. “Pero for sure hindi kaya ni Britney si Klarisse.” The Megastar said Klarisse’s perfect transformation left her speechless.

Judge Gary praised her vocals, saying it was 100% good. “Excellent and great performance.”

Klarisse was the winner of the third season.

AC Bonifacio (YFSF Kids Season 1, 2017) - “...Baby One More Time”

The Kids edition had their own Britney moments too, with AC performing “…Baby One More Time.” She nailed Britney’s sass, vocals, and dance moves.

Judge Sharon said, “You are a gifted dancer. You are so good, that was a great Britney.” While judge Gary felt AC’s love for her craft, “I always knew that you give performances coming from your heart.”

Lastly, judge Ogie reiterated, “Ang sarap sarap mong panoorin. Every moment was just spectacular.” He even joked that maybe AC stands for “Always Complete,” as she delivered a complete performance.

AC placed 3rd at the end of the season.

Krystal Brimner (YFSF Kids Season 2, 2018) - “Oops!... I Did It Again”

Another Kids edition highlight was Krystal Brimner performing “Oops!... I Did It Again.” From vocals to choreography, she embodied Britney completely.

Mentor Jed was really happy, “’Yun ang gusto ko talaga sa’yo, hindi ka nagbibitiw sa character mo.” He said Krystal was consistent and built a strong connection with the audience. Judge Ogie described her performance using the millennial term, “On fleek.”

“Kapag si Krystal, I don’t expect anything less.” Judge Sharon capped it off. “Talagang nakikita ko ‘yung alam n’yang ‘Ako si Britney Spears,’” which made her proud of Krystal’s performance.

Krystal placed 5th at the end of the season.

Alexa Ilacad (YFSF Season 4, 2025) - “I'm a Slave 4 U”

Proving she’s a total Gen Z performer, Alexa Ilacad sang “I’m a Slave 4 U” live---without a pre-recorded track---while dancing. Sultry from looks to vocals, she was Britney. She even performed with a real snake, earning a standing ovation from the jury.

At the end of the performance, Alexa shared that the albino python was well-trained and that she went through the legal process to perform with it as Britney. When asked what her message was to Jason Dy, another Ka-Familiar who would also perform as Britney Spears that week, she simply said, “May the best Britney win.”

As per the judges’ comments, Judge Ogie was left speechless, “That was so intense, so on point. Perfect.”

Mentor Klarisse De Guzman echoed, “Alexa habang tumatagal talagang lalo ka pang humuhusay, gumagaling.” She shared that from the moment Alexa stepped out of the iconator, she immediately saw Britney Spears in her, and that Alexa followed everything they taught her during mentoring.

Mentor Nyoy Volante said, “That was Britney Spears.” He added that Alexa’s performance would be remembered as one of the most iconic and on-point performances in “YFSF” history.

For judge Sharon, Alexa keeps getting better as weeks pass, “This was effortless, it was flawless.” She emphasized that Alexa really looked like Britney, and that her voice, attitude, and stance were all Britney-like.

Alexa took home the win of the 4th week.

Jason Dy (Season 4, 2025) - “Toxic"

In the same roster of performers with Alexa, Jason Dy took on Britney Spears with the 2004 classic “Toxic.” He nailed everything---vocals (without backtrack), dance performance, expressions, and nuances.

After the performance, Jason admitted that impersonating Britney was challenging, but he was up for it. One of the highlights was when Alexa joined him on stage for a Britney showdown, where both proved they nailed the transformation.

Mentor Klarisse was impressed, “Para sa isang lalaki na ma-impersonate si Britney Spears at ma-achieve ‘yun, wow. Mahirap ‘yung ginawa mo.”  While her co-mentor Nyoy said, “Isa sa mga pinakamahirap gawin kapag ka lalaki ka is kumanta ng pambabae.” He initially thought Jason was lip-syncing because he sang so flawlessly.

Judge Sharon shared, “It was so amazing, kaya hindi ako nagugulat na sinabi ni Coach Nyoy na akala n’ya lipsync, ako alam ko siyempre na tunay pero unbelievable sa akin nung narinig ko talaga.” She said he was undoubtedly good.

Judge Ogie commented, “Live sing, excellent. Choreography, on point. Wala akong masabi, Jason. OG ka na dito, you’re really amazing.”

Jason placed second that week, following Alexa's win.

From catsuits to schoolgirl uniforms, the “YFSF” stage became Britney's world for some nights. And with every transformation, the contestants reminded us why Britney remains an icon of pop culture.
